We would like to thank you for visiting us on the World Wide Web.  We hope that you will take the time to find out more about Victory Baptist Church through this site.  One of our goals is to encourage you in your life as a Christian.

We also welcome the opportunity to introduce people to the Lord Jesus Christ who may not have had the privilege yet to meet Him as their Lord and Savior.

If you are searching for a church home, we'd like you to know that there's a special place at Victory just for you.

A Place for Friendship!

Nothing quite compares to the joy of Christian friendship.  That's why we make it a priority to build lasting bonds between the members of our church family -- bonds of concern and genuine commitment to one another.  Best of all, this circle is ever-widening.  We'd love for it to include you, too.

A Place for Learning!

We consider that studying the Bible is vital because it not only instructs us intellectually, but also guides us spiritually.  We believe the whole Bible and accept it as God's Word to man. It is a Book that is alive and relevant in today’s world of complex problems and needs.  In order to make it easier to learn the wonderful principles for living found in God’s Word, we have exciting Bible classes for all ages with a nursery provided for all services.

Also, through this ministry, Victory Christian School is available to educate your child in an environment that is safe from many of the perils found in the public school system today. If you are looking for a place where you know that your child will always be taught Christian values, and where their curriculum will include daily Bible instruction, we invite you to consider Victory Christian School

Victory Baptist College is another wonderful part of our church program.  It is a "Preacher Factory"!  It is our desire to see God use the graduates from Victory Baptist College to reach America with the Gospel.

Please check out these ministries as well as the many others offered at Victory.

A Place for Enrichment!

For every person at every age level we offer a wealth of opportunities-- special programs and ministries for children, youth, and adults which fill the church calendar.  You can be sure that in this kaleidoscope of activities there's more than one place where you can be personally enriched.  The staff at Victory Baptist Church is always willing to help you in any situation that may arise.

 A Place for Service!

Just as Jesus Christ came "not to be ministered unto, but to minister..." we accept our responsibility to reach out in service to others.  This applies both within the church family and outside our fellowship.  We have a soul-winning club that meets weekly for instruction and on the job training.  In addition to this club there are many other facets of service that is mentioned in detail in the ministries section of the web site.

A Place For Worship!

The primary reason we meet together is to focus our attention on God: giving Him our worship and receiving His blessing and inspiration.  Each of these occasions is a special time of spiritual refreshment.  We hope this is what you experience at Victory, and we certainly hope to see you here.  All of our services are available on cassette tape and video tape.  Our tape ministry is located in the church foyer next to the Sunday School Annex.

Our Mission:

The mission of Victory Baptist Church is to see the Central Savannah River Area changed for the glory of God.  We seek to see lost sinners come to know God in repentent faith and then grow in fellowship with the Lord and other Christians to the point where they can minister to others in need of love and help.

Do you know our Lord Jesus Christ?

God's Simple Plan of Salvation!

1.  Recognize that you need to be saved:  "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

2.  Realize that you cannot save yourself:  "For by grace are ye saved through faith; that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

3.  Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to forgive you of your sins:  "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

4.  Through prayer, repent (turn from) your sins and ask Jesus to come in and control your life:  "God be merciful to me a sinner." (Luke 18:13) "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)

Church Profile

Victory Baptist Church has been in existence for over 31 years in North Augusta, South Carolina.  This church began with the God given vision of a young preacher named Larry Brown and a handful of family and friends.  It has grown over these past three decades in membership from a handful of people and minimal ministry opportunities to a thriving church with limitless opportunities to serve God in the community and abroad.  From Victory Christian School, a day school starting with Kindergarten and going through High School, to Victory Baptist College, offering a place for preachers as well as Christian Education majors to receive the training necessary to serve the Lord in the most effective way possible.
