You won't be doing this alone.
Before your group begins, you’ll go through one short leader training, so you know exactly what to expect. From there, you’re surrounded by help all semester. Not sure where you’re gifted yet? Start with the Growth Track, discover where you fit, then step into leading from there.
Take the Growth TrackA coach who walks with you. Someone who has led before checks in all semester, so you’re never guessing on your own.
Help with your study. We help you land on an approved study and get the materials in hand—no lesson to plan.
A community of leaders. You join other Victory leaders who trade ideas, compare notes, and pray for one another.

Every application is reviewed and approved by our Small Groups Director before your group is listed. Your contact info stays private to the Small Groups team and is never published.
Questions
The things people ask us most.
Do I have to be a Bible expert to lead a small group?
No. At Victory Baptist you facilitate the conversation, the approved study does the teaching, and a coach supports you the whole semester.
How do I become a small group leader at Victory Baptist?
Pick a pre-approved study, fill out the short leader application, and attend one leader training. We review applications as they come in.
How much time does leading a group take?
Your weekly meeting (about an hour) plus a few minutes to prepare and pray for your group.
Where do small groups meet?
In homes across North Augusta and the CSRA, in coffee shops, online, or in a room at the church, whatever works for the leader.
Can I lead a group with my spouse or a co-leader?
Yes. Victory Baptist encourages co-leading; it lightens the load and is more fun.
What study can I use for my group?
Choose from Victory Baptist's pre-approved list of studies, or request approval for another study.
When can I apply to lead a group?
Anytime. Send in the application above and your group is listed as soon as it's approved.
